The Schreiner Group has announced the opening of a new trading company in Shanghai, which will focus on the automotive, electronics and solar industries. According to the company, the subsidiary in China marks an important step in the internationalization strategy of this medium-sized, family-owned company.

“Through the new trading company in Shanghai, we assure proximity to our global customers,” says Roland Schreiner, chief operating officer of Schreiner Group. “The Asian region naturally harbors huge growth potential as well.”

In Shanghai, the company will offer its product portfolio focused on marking systems and functional films for engineering industries in line with its German location. According to the company, customers in China are now supplied directly from Shanghai, which simplifies business transactions and assures shorter delivery times. A Chinese native speaker based in Oberschleissheim, Germany, is in charge of internal coordination.
